Verification
Verify delivered work before downstream financial processes.
⌘ K
Verification closes the operational loop
Recording execution says the agency has entered what happened. Verification says the agency has confirmed that the recorded execution was actually delivered.
Planned→Recorded→Verified→Financially usable
Why verification is a gate
Financial records should not blindly trust planned activity. The workflow needs an operational checkpoint between “we intended to run this” and “we have evidence that this ran.”
Print verification
Each relevant insertion's execution/publication can be verified. This allows a placement with multiple insertions to progress occurrence by occurrence.
Before moving to invoices
- Check that all required billable executions are verified.
- Check that rejected or non-billable activity is excluded from financial calculations.
- Check that actual quantities and amounts are correct.
- Do not mark an execution verified merely because it was recorded.
Core rule: verification is not the same as execution. Execution records delivery; verification confirms delivery.
