Vendor Invoices

Track amounts payable to media vendors after execution is verified.

Vendor invoices close the supplier side

Vendor-side financial records represent what the agency owes to the media vendor for delivered media activity. The operational record should provide the evidence needed to reconcile the payable amount.

Vendor Invoice

What should be reconciled?

  • Vendor and publication/channel.
  • Delivered quantity.
  • Actual rate or amount.
  • Applicable discounts and commercial adjustments.
  • Tax treatment.
  • Only the activity that is eligible for vendor billing.

Why verification matters

Planned spend is not necessarily payable spend. The vendor invoice should be tied to the activity that was actually delivered and accepted by the operational workflow.
