Campaigns

Organise the commercial and operational work for a client.

What a campaign represents

A campaign is the shared commercial and operational context for a customer's advertising work. It is broader than an individual placement: a campaign can contain multiple advertisements and multiple media planning activities.

What belongs to a campaign?

The campaign provides the common context that lets teams understand why the downstream records exist. Think of it as the folder that contains the operational story of the client work.

Good campaign hygiene

  • Use names that are understandable to account, media and finance teams.
  • Keep the campaign tied to the correct customer and organisation.
  • Avoid creating duplicate campaigns for the same piece of work.
  • Before troubleshooting a downstream record, confirm that it belongs to the intended campaign.
